In Freespace games, Pilots are promoted to a higher rank depending
on their overall score. To improve your score, try killing more ships and playing on a harder
difficulty. Likewise, playing on easy difficulty, not killing ships, and rearming, all deduct points
from your total score. Below are the ranks you can get in Freespace, and the score you need to attain them. To
view your score, download the 'Pilot View' program from the Downloads page.
